Conservation Organization
Human activities are harming manatees, and only our compassion and action can protect them.
Manatees are Florida’s official state marine mammal. They are listed as vulnerable at the international level by the IUCN World Conservation Union. They are listed as threatened at the federal level by the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service and at the state level by the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC). Their listing status is largely due to human activity. Since record-keeping began in 1974, more than 41% of manatee deaths where cause of death was identified were human-related – and almost 34% were due to watercraft collisions (the largest known cause of manatee deaths). With increased awareness, education, regulations, and enforcement, manatee deaths caused by humans could be substantially reduced, and the eventual recovery of the species could be realized.

Fins Magazine was started in 2019 sharing the world of mermaids from an enthusiast and photographer perspective, with some mermaid content thrown in.
With the addition of Jeff Weiner from JW Creative Art in 2020, Fins is growing. Not only are we combining the world of digital artistry with mermaids, we are expanding our content. No longer JUST a platform for mermaids to be featured, but a place for mermaid related businesses and mermaids to learn, grow and celebrate this amazing and positive community making big changes in our world. A community finding ways to grow and adapt in spite of a world turned upside down by a global pandemic. To meet the rising tides of mermaids in the world, we have mers from around the globe providing expertise from their own special perspectives. We are encompassing more content based on all the different facets of the mermaid world.

Family Circus
Hailing from the Chicago area Miss Claira Bell has been actively performing her passions of Circus, Sideshow and Cabaret. Traveling all over the country Claira has gotten the pleasure of working with such groups as; Blue Moon Circus, The Squidling Brothers, The Boston Baby Dolls, Chump Change Variety Show, and the Cream City Cabaret. She is currently a member of Project X Burlesque out of Indy.
Having a strong background in theater and dance Miss Claira Bell is a sight to watch with her lovely vaudevillian performance style. Blending the lines of sideshow and cabaret Claira is guaranteed to give the audience a show they wont soon forget....
This Manic Pixie Dream girl also enjoys clowning around for audiences young and old, big or small. Weather it be on the aerial hoop and trapeze, or with sharp objects and fire Miss Claira Bell puts her charming ascetic into every show.
